The Largest Class in ACC History
Dear Friends across the World,
I can’t believe it! We have surpassed all prior numbers of young people wishing to be discipled in both our first year and continuing student programs! This is not a numbers game, but each is an individual who God wants to redeem and educate through healing, Christian education, and purposeful discipleship. We are amazed at God’s provision with this new class! The picture attached shows an image only; the heartfelt stories and victories in their lives is what propels us towards giving them every opportunityto become whole life disciples. To date, five of our students have met Christ as their Savior for the first time! Here we go!![]()

Freshmen- With 42 students who began with us and 40 now on campus, life is hopping! 11 of these arrived and were accepted after orientation weekend so have had to catch up! They are an amazing class that feels different than any other class because of so many returning students who bring maturity and strength to the freshmen. Pray for addictions, victories from pain, and spiritual forces that bring negative impact to our campus to be resolved.
Faculty- We will soon be having our accreditation team visit us at ACC. We are BEGGING you to prayerfully remember ACC on Oct 10-14 as the team is here evaluating every part of our ministry to mainly Alaskans. We are prepared for the visit and yet are unsure of the outcome. PRAY for a positive evaluation so that we can be pre-achieve candidate status and begin to minister in many new ways beginning next year. This requires a large financial cost in order to see a financial benefit to each student who will receive federal and state aid. The cost of this process is in the$18,000 range this year alone so that a positive decision can be reached. Would you consider a gift to assist this critical part of ACC’s ministry to come to fruition? Also, we continue to search for a Director of Admissions as Scott Pitsch, our new Dir. of Student Services, now oversees that department and has made a vacancy! Know of anyone?????
Facilities- We are thoroughly enjoying our new Peninsula Conference Center in full swing with student and community use. We are also excited to have new tenants in our log cabin just acquired on loan to bring our campus structures to 11 and our property now at 16.5 acres. We have had a thoroughly exciting summer with teams and are seeking 6 teams for Summer 08 to help us remodel the log cabin in its entirety, transform our attached garage into offices for our growing staff, build a mens bunkhouse, and finish a portion of the dining hall basement. We are praying for over 120 summer servants!
Finances- We invite you to our annual Anchoring our Future Dinner and Program on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at Community Covenant Church in Eagle River if you are in the area! We wish to raise the funds to pay for the cost of the process towards accreditation this year and for the next. Please invest with us. Candidate status for accreditation means large financial blessings for our financially struggling students, the transfer of credit, and excellence in our program that is recognized by the US Dept. of Education.
This is a critical time for ACC’s future. >From my first day on Nov. 1, 2000, I know of no other time as critical as this to reach out to God and pray for ACC. My thanks,
Keith
