Ahmad Dreams: A testimony from East Bethel, June 2007
Finally he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He is the young man I met last year. Let’s just call his name Ahmad. He is one of my contacts who have business relationship with me.
I still remember last year the first time I met him. After seeing him for several times, I told him a story about a prophet who can perform miracles. And I told him frankly that the prophet is Jesus Christ. In one of our conversation I introduced to him Jesus Christ as a Living savior. No one can go to the Father except by Him. I challenged him to accept Jesus who owns Heaven if he wants to go to Heaven because He is the owner of Heaven. Now He is preparing places for those who believe Him. All who believe Him will stay with Him in Heaven. He was very mad and upset to hear my statement. Flying into a rage, he replied me “I don’t like you are talking like this. Don’t tell me all these things. I have my own religion so don’t try to persuade me.” Then I answered him “I know that. I’m not talking about religion. I’m talking about Jesus Christ, about Him who is able to heal you and me.” If you get sick, ask Him to heal you, you must be healed.”
We kept in silent for a moment. And then I changed the conversation to some general things and let him think about all we had been talking. We still meet each other after this sensitive conversation. Since Ahmad has been suffered from an unknown sickness for a long time, I told him that Jesus Christ can heal sickness.” He has been suffered from a weird headache. He had gone to see sixty healers as well but none could heal him. No doctors who could cure him either. One day I went to see him in his store. He told me about his two dreams. In his first dream, he met a man in a white robe at cemetery. In his second dream, he met the same man at a well. He inquired me the meaning of his dreams. I replied him “Your dreams are related to one another. You saw a man in white robe at cemetery means you see Jesus Christ who is rose from the death. In your second dream, you saw him again at a well means He asks you to believe Him, to repent and He will give you the living water or freshness which endures forever. Both of your dreams are written in our Holy Book. So, God has chosen you. You have to repent and leave your wrong deeds. Now the gate of Heaven is open to you. Jesus Christ has died but risen again, ascended to Heaven to prepare places for us.”
Then I invited him to accept Jesus Christ into his heart. He allowed me to pray for him and he believes Jesus Christ as his savior. Several days later, we prayed together to release him from the influence of the sixty healers he contacted with before and from other occult power.
Now, Ahmad looks fresher and cheerful. He comes to my house almost every night to study the Words. He is thirsty and hungry like a baby who always wants pure milk. He comes to our house not only for teaching us Acehnese but also for learning His Words.
Prayers:
- Pray that Ahmad knows more about the Father’s love and pray also for his ability to enjoy Him.
- Pray God to give strength and wisdom from Pak Nullang who is in charge of following up Ahmad’s growth.
- Pray God to heal Ahmad from his headache that he has been suffered for a long time.
- Pray God to strengthen Ahmad that he can face the challenge from his family.
- Pray God to enable Ahmad to be a blessing and a good witness for his family.
